Thank you everyone for your very sweet comments. Hubs and I are very excited.
To get all the juicy details out I am just going to answer some of the most common questions asked:
How far along?
I'm 10 weeks!
Due Date?
Feb. 15, 2011
Are we finding out the sex?
No! I know we must be crazy, right? At
least that is what everyone tells us. What surprises me is that I am doing this and I have zero patience. I mean it is probably even less than zero. I really need to work on this patience thing, or so I have been told, before this kid comes out, so this is a great way to start. Plus, there are so few surprises in life that we can make this the biggest of ours. Then I think that instead of going out and buying all pink and blue things I will have to get neutral colors and I can use them for all our kids no matter what sex comes next.

Were you trying?
I actually hate this question because trying to every person is different. But, yes, we were trying. I won't go into too many details on here, but we had some struggles along the way. For us, it wasn't like we did what we needed to do and bam.. pregnant. However, I will say that the journey we had makes me appreciate what a true miracle this is. And, I'm thankful for my wonderful doctor and he was able to figure out what we needed to do and it worked.
How am I feeling?
I am actually really lucky because for the most part I have felt pretty good. I do have my good moments and my bad moments where I think I am going to vomit all over the room and instead all I can do is eat to make myself feel better. Although, if you ask hubs he will tell you I am always complaining about not feeling good. I mean, I really try not to. Now, when it comes to my boobs this is a whole different story. Don't. Even. Look. At. Them. They hurt so freaking bad. I think my boobs are doing now what they were supposed to do when I was going through puberty. Hooray for maybe not being a negative A anymore!!!
Any Cravings?
FOOD!! And unfortunately it is not fruit or veggies. It is McDonald's French Fries with ketchup (but only McDonald's ketchup because it is different), pizza, and French onion soup from Panera. YUM!! I am really trying to not indulge in all of that, but if that is all I can eat then I'm assuming that is better than nothing. Right?
Food Aversions?
PICKLES and CHICKEN.... BARF!!!!!!!! Yes, I am dramatic about those two things. I can not even look at them. Sick! I usually eat a ton of chicken and for some reason this kid is not having it. Hubs one night grilled BBQ chicken, before we realized it was an issue, and it was on my plate and I tried to take one bite and I just couldn't. So he said "don't eat it". Then I just stared at it and pouted until he said "do I need to take it off your plate?" That was much better :)
Are we sharing names?
Most people do know the names we are thinking. We are 99.8% sure what the girl name is. The boy name Hubs is stuck on, but I'm considering some other options. Maybe I will just do a whole post on the names once we have 100% decided. Suspenseful isn't it??
So, there ya go. These first weeks have gone by super fast and I hope it stays like this. We are so busy the rest of the summer that I know before I blink it will be October and then the holidays and then pretty much there.

Congratulations! I am so excited for you guys and Walter! What a true blessing! I hate I missed your earlier post announcing it, but congratulations!!!
Yay... congrats! =)
My 'healthy' cravings didn't come till the 2nd tri. Just eat what you can now.
Curious about this boy name, pretty sure I know the girl name.
I will make my 'official' gender guess when I can see how the bump is forming but of course I'm routing for a team blue playmate for Brayden!!! We need to gang up on miss Claire next year LOL.
Yay! I'm so excited for you...i can't even stand it!
Congratulations! Isn't it nice knowing that you can trust your doctor? We drove an hour and forty-five minutes to St. Louis because I love my doctor that much. I hope everything continues to go well!
Oh, I forgot to say that baby gear definitely buy neutral. As far as clothes goes, it is hard to resist but don't buy anything. Newborns don't need much in the beginning. I learned this from Connor! He grew out of his newborn clothes and while packing them away to make room in the closet, he didn't wear much of what he had! You will have favorites and tend to stick to those clothes.
Yay! Congrats! I love the update!
I always hated that "are you trying" question. Like you said, it means different things to different people, and it is sort of a sensitive topic!
Congratulations!!! I am impressed that you guys are waiting to find out--my brother and sister-in-law waited and they said they'd do it all over again, they LOVED the surprise. Congrats again! :)
Congrats, Congrats, Congrats! That is super exciting news! Glad everything is going good so far.
Congratulations! So exciting :)
How fun that you're waiting to find out the sex of the baby!
So so so exciting!!! You are have so much self control to let the sex be a surprise, I don't think I could do it. Can't wait to hear the pregnancy updates!
Congrats to you guys! It is such an exciting time. And waiting to find out is awesome - at least I am having lots of fun with it. Ed may say different. Keep us updated!
